The 4th Annual Denver Days Poker

up that engine and get ready for The 2009 Denver Days Fall
Festival Poker Run! This year's Denver days Poker Run will be held
on Saturday, September 26, 2009
This year's poker run route
will take riders around Lake Norman. Registration will be from 9:00 am to 11
am at The Denver House located at 3608 N. Hwy 16 in Denver. The registration fee for single
riders is $25 and $35 for Double riders. Extra hands can be
purchased for $10. Cash prizes will be awarded at Midtown Sundries
in Denver, the last stop of
the poker run before the parade of bikes to the Denver Days Fall
Festival. The Best Hand will receive $250 and the Worst Hand will
receive $100. Door prizes will also be awarded.
The event officially ends
with a "parade of bikes" from Midtown Sundries to the
Denver Days festival grounds on Highway 16 at 3:30pm. This has become
a tradition of the Denver Days Poker Run that you won't want to
miss. A large crowd of Festival goers gathers along the parade
route to get a look at all the beautiful bikes and share in the
excitement as you thunder into the festival, pass in front of the
main performance stage, and then park in a special area reserved
just for the poker run. You can then relax in the beer & wine
garden and enjoy free concerts by the best beach bands in the
business as well as the many vendors, rides and other
entertainment the festival has to offer.
