| UPDATE:
Thank you
to all the vendors that came out and made the best of a
bad situation at the Denver Days Fall Festival last
weekend. Weather is one of the most important aspects of
a successful outdoor event and it is, unfortunately,
outside of everyone’s control. We well understand the
disappointment everyone feels when the weather is poor.
We know how much hard work and effort everyone puts in
to setting-up their booths and how much everyone counts
on having a good turn-out to make it worth-while.
Because
of contractual agreements and the large scope of the
event, the festival can not
be cancelled unless conditions are deemed to be unsafe.
Though the weather at the
festival was poor it was not considered dangerous and
consequently we were obligated to
remain open.
We are
very grateful and appreciative of the patience,
understanding, and support we
have received from almost all of our vendors.
Again we
extend a heartfelt thank you to all the vendors that
came out and supported the
festival by sticking it out through a rainy Saturday.
All of the Denver Days Volunteers
are grateful and appreciative of the patience, kindness,
understanding, and support that
most all of you showed us through a difficult and
disappointing situation.
With
Thanks and Appreciation,
The
Denver Days Fall Festival Volunteers
