ELBA Meeting; "East
Lincoln's Future, It's in our Hands"
The East Lincoln Betterment Association's
January General Meeting will begin a focus on
East Lincoln's future. East Lincoln currently
faces many challenges including rapid growth,
zoning, Traffic and more. The local community
has the collective power to insure that these
issues are dealt with in a manner that adds to
the area's Quality of Life. As a first step,
the January meeting will bring focus on what
constitutes a viable community and provide a
concept of what makes community spirit, the
different elements of community and how to go
about achieving a unified and livable
community for the future. Kris Krider,
Planning Director for the city of Davidson
will speak along with Randy Hawkins, Lincoln
County's Zoning Administrator. Both speakers
provide East Lincoln residents with more than
41 years of collective experience to answer
questions and provide insight and guidance for
the many changes currently underway that are
affecting how Lincoln county develops.
January's meeting will prove an exciting and
thought provoking look into how East Lincoln
can develop into the first class community its
residents deserve. This will also be a
beginning primer on how East Lincoln's
residents can take active rolls in insuring
this community has a future vision and insure
its quality of life and future growth. Please
mark your calendars.
7:00PM, Thursday, January 24th, Main
Fellowship Hall of Unity Presbyterian Church
Unity Church road, just East of Hwy 16 in
Denver.
